GACO is a ringing group that we also take ill, injuried or unable to fly birds for help on their recuperation. Once they are fine we ring and release them again, so, we help on the individual recuperation and we also help some ringing studies. If birds need a special atention we send them to some wildlife rehabilitation center.
In case you find an injuried or unable to fly bird in Osona, don't hesitate to contact us . We will do as much as we can for its rehabilitation.
WARNING!!!: In some species of birds, and specially nocturnal raptors, it's usual to jump from their nest before to be able to fly, despite their parents still take care of them, it's a normal behaviour. It's important to keep them in the same place you found them, except if they are near roads, because probably their parents are still checking them.
