Bird ringing
Bird ringing is the main activity of the group. It's an study method that involves birds individual marking and recapturing them.
Thanks to the data collected in this activity, several scientific studies of migration, biometrics, populations, etc. can be carried out. These data can also contribute to bird conservation and protection.
Currently, over several sporadic ringing sessions, we carry out the following projects:
Testimonial video ringing a Little Bunting (Emberiza pusilla) at Raurell (Calldetenes).
