Thousands of birds are ringed taking advantage of the big concentrations of Swallows (Hirundo rustica) to roost during autumn migration. Because of the big amount of birds caught, we get several foreign recoveries every year from other european countries.
A part from Barn Swallows, we usually ring other species that use the same area to roost, such us Sand Martin (Riparia riparia) and Yellow Wagtails (Motacilla flava).
